Notepad2 is a free software that is similar to Microsoft Notepad, the popular text editor that comes inbuilt with Microsoft Operating Systems.

The basic Notepad has all the feature that a normal computer user needs. But for the advanced users who are into coding and want more features Notepad2 is the answer.

For example there is a feature in Notepad2 which you can use it to drag and drop text like you would when using Microsoft Word.

When you download Notepad2 and install it on your computer the original Microsoft Notepad gets replaces by Notepad2. So when you click on Notepad icon from the start menu or on your desktop the Notepad2 software opens.
